The hours are slowly, oh so slowly, ticking by for the finale of Grey's Anatomy. There's that faint buzz, there in the back of your skull, that need and want to see the end, coupled with a grasping despair that screams it's not ready for the story to stall again while the summer reruns roll over the next few months.

Whether you're ready for the finale or not, though, the actors that we love to love, that we love to hate are taking the opportunity to get out there and chat it up with some of the day and evening talk shows. Last night was one of those nights, and a very delicious Dr. McSteamy, Eric Dane, was on Late Night with Conan O'Brien.

Our favorite moment of the evening came when Conan asked Eric about the McSteamiest moment when Derek goes to Madison in the hotel room to apologize, and the faithful viewers feel that they've made progress, and Mr. Hot and Wet and barely wearing a towel steps out of the bathroom. Conan asked him about that fame-making towel moment, and Eric admits, «Half wearing a towel and almost loosing it can be a sexy thing. Doing it on set in front of an entire crew as well as the other actors? Not quite the same thing.»

Whether it took great acting to pull of that McSteamiest moment (since, Eric, you are oh so good) or it was falling back on sheer animal magnetism, Mr. Eric Dane, all of your adoring fans thank you for that hip teasing image. YUM.

Oh!! And for those who can't get enough of Eric Dane! He will be on Live! with Regis and Kelly this morning.
